Our Trade Soil is one of the cheapest options to use when preparing for turf. It has varied compost mixed in with screened top soil, a great budget alternative to our Premium UnderTurf.

The best product for turf preparation is our Premium UnderTurf Soil. It contains a blend primarily made from finely screened Top Soil, but with added sawdust, manure & mushroom compost. It is, in our opinion, the best UnderTurf Soil you will find around Brisbane & Gold Coast, both for the ingredients used, how easily it spreads & how well it takes care of your grass.

Because of the weight of the Trade Top Soil, we can only carry a maximum of 11 cubic metres with this product. The Underturf Soil is a little lighter, allowing us to carry a max load of 12m3.

In preparing your site for UnderTurf, try to get the area as level as possible around 100mm-130mm below your desired finished height. The ideal thickness you want to spread your UnderTurf is 70mm-100mm, with your turf being roughly 30mm thick.
